I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to do a REEF snorkel survey at Hanauma Bay. We were in the water for about two hours and snorkeled the outter reef. Life is so abundant past the buoys! It wasn’t as clear and calm as I hoped it would be, but we still managed to get some awesome photos!
- Squid
- Blenny
- Bird Wrasse
- Pearl Wrasse
- Spectacled Parrotfish
- Saddleback Butterflyfish
- Peacock Grouper
- Slate Pencil Urchin
- False Brain Coral

Found a Saddleback. Right on! I like the Blenny.
Sorry I missed you. Let’s try to meet and go together the next time you are snorkeling at HB!
