another of life’s firsts. First day of school, first crush, and then today after years of trying to spend more time in the ocean than on land … first shark sighting! It was a white tip reef shark just beyond the groin separating the east and west halves of the MLCD. It swam within 10 to 15 feet but was surrounded by omilu and didn’t appear to notice me, which was why to my surprise I didn’t panic. Didn’t get a picture of the shark but did see some other interesting fish.
