Wish List

As a grant-funded project, donations of products and services are greatly appreciated!  There are many items that we can put to good use, so if you have ideas of other ways to help that are not listed below, please contact us via email or (808)691-9327.  We are happy to acknowledge our donors here on this project blog as well as our main website (under development), and can also include your logo in project publications to acknowledge your contributions.

• use of conference rooms or ballrooms for volunteer training sessions
• professional services such as graphic design work or marketing consultations
• ad space for public service announcements
• monitoring gear, such as:  wrist lanyards, boogie boards, snorkel gear, rash guards, wetsuits, sunscreen, underwater paper, dive slates, underwater cameras, materials to construct quadrats, towels, sunscreen, etc.
• items we can distribute to volunteers to acknowledge and reward their participation; past examples include: tide calendars, beach towels, re-usable water bottles, and gift certificates for retail outlets and restaurants
• t-shirts, hats, or other gear we can imprint with our project logo and distribute as staff and volunteer uniforms or sell as fundraising items
• food or beverages for volunteer training classes and public education workshops
• general office supplies
