Volunteer

Become a volunteer and learn to conduct snorkel surveys or provide shore support.

  • Anyone wishing to participate in snorkel surveys must be a strong swimmer, competent snorkeler, and have his/her own mask, snorkel and fins.
  • Assistance is also needed on shore during snorkel surveys to keep watch over participants’ gear and answer questions from curious beach goers. Volunteers helping in this capacity are not responsible for snorkeler safety.  What better excuse can you find to hang out on the beach and bask in the sun (or shade)?

To request a volunteer application, please contact us via email.

Thank you for your interest in getting involved! Unfortunately, our project is not currently in operation. When snorkel surveys resume, we’ll be sure to post new volunteer opportunities here on this page.
