We would like to thank everyone who has helped to inspire, educate, and promote stewardship of the Waikiki Marine Life Conservation District. We are currently in the process of identifying new sources of funding to continue our program. Until then, keep up with the REEF surveys and continue to promote ocean awareness with aloha!

Hey, I’m a free diver and spearfisherman looking to help. How do I sign up to volunteer?
Hi Diego, unfortunately Reef Watch Waikiki is not an active project anymore. As a community member, we encourage you to educate those you see at the Waikiki Marine Life District about the rules and purpose of a marine protected area. REEF (Reef Environmental Education Program) is a similar program that is active on Oahu. The Hanauma Bay Education Program is a field site and frequently holds training classes. Send an email to hbvp@hawaii.edu to sign up. They hold classes bimonthly.
